Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy We understand that sometimes plans change. Our booking policy is designed to be fair to both students and the tutor. Please read carefully: 1. Cancellations and Rescheduling - Advance Notice: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please provide at least 24 hours' notice before the scheduled start time. This allows us to offer the slot to other students. - Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session will incur a charge equivalent to the full session fee. This policy helps ensure that the tutor's time is respected and utilized effectively. - Rescheduling: Sessions can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the session start time without any penalty. Requests to reschedule within 24 hours of the session will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may depend on availability. 2. No-Show Policy - No-Show: If you do not attend a scheduled session without prior notice, it will be considered a no-show, and the full session fee will be charged. This helps us maintain a structured schedule and provide fair service to all students. 3. Refund Policy - Student Cancellations: Refunds will be issued for sessions canceled by the student at least 24 hours in advance. - Tutor Cancellations: Refunds will also be issued for any sessions canceled by the tutor. - Satisfaction Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with your first session, you may request a full refund for any future sessions already booked at the time of the request. The refund must be requested within the first two sessions. After that, no refunds will be provided for any booked sessions. 4. Payment Terms - Prepayment: All payments are due before each session and must be made through our booking website. Sessions will only be confirmed once payment has been received. 5. Exceptional Circumstances - Emergencies: We understand that emergencies happen. If you need to cancel or reschedule due to an emergency, please contact us as soon as possible. We will handle these situations with sensitivity and flexibility. 6. Waiting List - Waiting List: If your preferred dates and times are not available, you can join our waiting list. Please email sessions@marciarobinsontutor.co.uk with the subject "Waiting List" and include your preferred dates and times between 5:10 pm and 11:30 pm. We will notify you if a slot becomes available and inform you of your position on the waiting list. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please contact us.
